Aligning With the Universe’s Master Code
What Holofractal Physics Reveal About Consciousness, Creativity, and the Art of Coherence

Marshall Lefferts’ book, Cosmometry: Exploring the HoloFractal Nature of the Cosmos presents a “unified model of cosmic geometry, physics, music and consciousness.”1 Beneath the complexity is a straight-forward premise:
Reality is relational, governed by harmonic laws that maintain the integrity of the whole at every scale.
The universe is not a collection of randomly-assembled objects but a self-organizing feedback loop structured by fundamental mathematical patterns. These patterns scale consistently from the subatomic to the galactic, creating what Lefferts calls a “holofractal architecture”—a nested geometry where the whole remains instantaneously connected to every part, allowing complexity to increase without structural collapse.
These mathematical patterns are a signature of intelligence—the capacity for recognition, organization, and self-modeling that operates at every scale.
If we accept that premise, this intelligence cannot be emergent but must be primary— inseparable from consciousness, both fundamental properties of existence. What enables our physical reality reveals the nature of conscious intelligence organizing itself into form.
The implications are profound.
What does the underlying cosmic structure tell us?
Expansion happens through harmony.
Harmony isn’t uniformity; it is unity with multiplicity—parts preserving the integrity of the whole.
Harmony isn’t stillness. Movement is what nudges the stillness of the vacuum into the flow and spin of the torus—what powers evolution and shares information with the whole.
Every energetic action we take—our thoughts, choices, and creative urges—adds to the increasing intricacy of existence. The one became two, four, eight, and so forth to expand itself and its own knowing.
This means we are not agents of intelligence working on behalf of something separate from ourselves. We are not spiders separate from the web—we are the web having the experience of being a spider.
This reframes the “spiritual” journey from a merging back into singularity and stillness to dancing to the music of existence.
The question becomes: What do you want to contribute to the cosmic dance?
As Lefferts’ book illustrates, the answer matters.
The Mechanics of Creation
Drawing on the work of Buckminster Fuller, David Bohm, Nassim Haramein, and other pioneering scientists, Lefferts reveals the harmonic laws written in the blueprints of life. The Binary (2:1) ratio governs the rhythmic doubling of our cells as we grow from a single cell into the complexity of a human form. This same doubling logic governs the “octaves” of the electromagnetic spectrum. It is how the universe creates “room” for expansion, allowing a vast diversity of experience to exist simultaneously.
If the Binary is how we divide, the Phinary (the Golden Ratio Φ) is how we connect without clashing. It is the only ratio that creates the boundary conditions that allow for infinite nesting of discrete parts. We see this in the golden angle of a leaf—rotated 137.5° to ensure maximum sun exposure—and in the efficient arrangement of seeds in a sunflower. The phi ratio that governs galaxy formation is the same ratio governing the fractal branching of our lungs and circulatory systems, ensuring that life-sustaining energy reaches every part of the whole with perfect efficiency.
Because new growth always happens in relation to the original center, the Golden Ratio allows for continuity without competition. It is the “damping” that contains form so it doesn’t dissipate into chaos; it is why the hibiscus has five petals and the apple five seeds, preserving coherence through Fibonacci’s sequence.
When Binary expansion meets Phinary damping, you get the Dodecanary (12-step) harmonic system—the master code for stable, complex structures. We see this base-12 “music” in the geometry of Carbon-12 atoms, the hexagonal beauty of snow crystals, and the orbital relationships of our solar system. It is the orchestration that allows diversity to interact and create a synergetic whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.
What we perceive as light and sound are the sensory signatures of these harmonic ratios in motion—the audible and visible evidence of a universe that is constantly singing itself into form.
These aren’t just coincidences of physics; they appear to be the signatures of an intelligence that uses holographic feedback loops to experience its own infinite potential through a lens of unique fractalized perspectives, operating at a range of resolutions. The physics help explain how that works, but not why that would be the goal.
Harmony & Wholeness
Coherence is what creates order. It is the physics that supports complexity at scale. Complexity is what allows for more information, which is how consciousness expands. This evolutionary bias toward continuity through connection and coherence is what Lefferts’ book demonstrates:
Harmony with wholeness is the only way systems thrive.
He writes, “Our role is to recognize the patterns, processes, and principles upon which the greater field of reality we are in achieves [thriving] and base our perceptions, beliefs and actions upon them so as to come into alignment and harmony with the inherent dynamics of life thriving in the cosmos.”
Said another way: When you stop fighting the inherent math of existence, you move from interference to flow. You tune to the original blueprint, where harmony and health are the inevitable results.
You go into resonance with the coherence of intelligence.
When we speak of a “return to wholeness,” we aren’t talking about a destination. It is to recognize the fractal you are—that you are the web experiencing yourself as a spider, same as everyone and everything else.
Wholeness is the recognition of relationship.
Because the holofractal nature of reality means everything is shared instantaneously, nothing is truly private, nor is it truly external. We are all uploading to and downloading from the same field in every moment.
What changes when you recognize that?
When you see yourself as a part of a unified field, you might think twice before harming someone. You might speak to yourself and others with kindness and compassion. You might protect what is vulnerable.
You might serve the integrity of the whole.
This isn’t morality. It is clearing away the static and distortion that interferes with what existence is already aiming toward.
It’s not so much about being “good” but being constructive instead of destructive, coherent instead of incoherent.
Source Creativity
Much of my work focuses on authenticity—knowing and aligning with what matters most to you. What we are talking about here goes beyond that. It’s not just what is important to you as a sovereign fractal but what matters most to conscious intelligence itself.
What does it mean to tune to the original blueprint and harmonize with the harmonic structures underlying everything?
Lefferts emphasizes love and joy as the precursors of equilibrium or peace. I’m certainly not going to speak against those. But I am going to offer a slightly different take on the lived practice of coherence, returning to reality’s underlying structure.
Lefferts’ work illuminates the features and functions that allow for expansion. We see a system oriented toward novelty, diversity, and complexity that is foundationally relational. New information is generated through experience, which emerges through choice—the prerequisite for creation.
All of existence depends on creativity. Curiosity and agency spin the torus.
This is mirrored in our human experience. What consistently evokes joy is curiosity, wonder, and awe. It is exploration, discovery, and the sense of growth that generates. Creating something new and uplifting, particularly when in connection with others, is where most humans find fulfillment.
That consistent signature points toward something intrinsic rather than emergent. We aren’t just entropy-reducing machines. We are consciousness displaying creative agency through desire and choice.
Creativity cannot exist without freedom to choose. Freedom is a baseline condition for expansion. When we seek to limit freedom for others, we rob ourselves of our own creative potential. The holofractal structure of existence deems it so.
Something interesting happens when we are free to create. When we are immersed in what inspires us, the impulses toward competition fade, largely because creativity is a state of abundance that mirrors the self-sustaining feedback loop of the torus.
We become our own free energy device.
In that state, when we are tapped into the inexhaustible, we naturally become more loving and compassionate. We experience greater joy.
But lived coherence with conscious intelligence isn’t just an emotional state. It’s embodying the properties of consciousness itself. It’s moving through life as a creator, with the perspective of the entire web.
That is harmonic living. That is when you become an open channel for more energy, more understanding, and more joy.
The Cosmic Dance
Our creativity is constantly shared with the whole. The music of existence is different because we played our part. Somewhere along the binary chain of division, we were each chosen into existence as an intentional act of self-expression and expansion. That isn’t self-help pep talk. It is the physics of why you matter, along with everyone you will ever meet.
“Raising your frequency” is elevating your perspective from the fractal to the whole. You aren’t adding or becoming anything—you are stripping away the static that keeps you from seeing what you already are. Then you live from that perspective—choosing coherence in everything you do.
What would I enjoy? How can I serve? What will I create?
The distortions in our bodies and in our world aren’t a failure of the mechanics. They reflect a lack of coherence with harmonic structures. It’s what happens when a fractal loses the thread of its relationship to the whole, when the part begins operating as though it were the entirety rather than an expression of it.
These distortions are our messengers, alerting us to where we are fighting against natural order. Dissonance serves us by signaling variance from the original blueprint.
The answer isn’t more fighting. It is coherence—aligning with natural order through novelty, creativity, connection, and harmony with how existence actually evolves and expands.
This is the cosmic dance—moving with the flow that carries us all.

It's what I say repeatedly: Math is reality.
Also, our purpose is to be creative. It doesn't matter what we do for a living, our skills or whatever. And it doesn't matter if no one else appreciates what we create.
